30th Jul 2026

The countdown is on. In just one month's time, Haynes Motor Museum will welcome thousands of motoring enthusiasts to the John Haynes Classic Motor Show on Sunday 6 September 2026.

Created in honour of John Haynes OBE, founder of Haynes Motor Museum and creator of the world-famous Haynes Manuals, the event has quickly established itself as one of the South West's flagship celebrations of motoring heritage.

Whether you're passionate about rare classics, engineering innovation, historic motorsport or simply enjoy being surrounded by fellow enthusiasts, this year's show promises more vehicles, more expert speakers and more opportunities to experience motoring history in action.

Across the Museum's outdoor event arena, visitors can explore hundreds of vehicles spanning more than a century of automotive history.

From beautifully restored classics and rare historic vehicles to modern performance cars and motorcycles, every display has its own story to tell. Classics Row returns with an impressive selection of privately owned vehicles, while car and motorcycle clubs from across the country will showcase their pride and joy alongside fellow enthusiasts.

Watch the Museum Collection Come to Life

One of the highlights of the John Haynes Classic is the Running Vehicle Displays, offering the rare opportunity to see and hear vehicles from the Museum's collection away from the exhibition halls.

With live commentary throughout, these demonstrations celebrate the engineering, character and history behind some of the collection's most fascinating vehicles, bringing the stories behind the machines to life.

Hear From Some of the Biggest Names in Motoring

The Live Stage will feature an outstanding line-up of guests from across the motoring world, including: Edd China, Ian Seabrook (HubNut), Tiger Johnson, Iain Tyrrell, Danny Hopkins and Ralph Hosier.

Throughout the day, they'll share stories, insights and expertise covering everything from restoration and engineering to classic motoring, YouTube and automotive history. Visitors can also enjoy talks celebrating the revolutionary Lamborghini Miura, the enduring appeal of the Austin 7 and 70 years of historic karting.
