John Haynes Classic Motor Show 2026: A Celebration of Classic Motoring
15th Sept 2026
The John Haynes Classic Motor Show 2026 brought more than 2,500 motoring enthusiasts to Haynes Motor Museum on Sunday 6 September for a day celebrating classic cars, motorcycles and enthusiasts.
With sunshine throughout the day, the Museum grounds were filled with more than 200 vehicles in Classics Row and the Austin 7 Special Display, alongside 25 car clubs showcasing their own collection of cherished classics.
This year’s show also saw more action than ever, with a programme of running vehicle parades throughout the day bringing the sound and movement of classic motoring to the event. Visitors could also watch British Historic Karting demonstrations and explore a new display of utility vehicles, adding even more variety to the line-up.
From club displays to individual owners bringing their cars along, the John Haynes Classic is about more than the vehicles themselves. It is a chance for enthusiasts to share their knowledge, stories and passion for the cars and motorcycles that have shaped motoring history.
The 2026 show brought together a wide range of marques and eras, giving visitors plenty to explore throughout the Museum grounds. The participating car clubs also helped create the community atmosphere that makes the John Haynes Classic distinctive.
The event builds on the legacy of John Haynes, who founded Haynes Motor Museum in 1985 to celebrate his passion for motoring and his collection of vehicles.
Thank you to everyone who brought a vehicle, joined a club display, took part in the demonstrations or simply came along to enjoy the show.
The date for the 2027 John Haynes Classic Motor Show has not yet been confirmed. Details will be announced on the John Haynes Classic social media channels and at johnhaynesclassic.co.uk when the new date is confirmed.
We look forward to welcoming you back for another celebration of classic motoring.
