This year’s May Half Term programme combines classic car culture with hands-on activities designed for children, parents and motoring enthusiasts alike. Watch Motoring History Come to Life
One of the biggest highlights returning for 2026 is the Museum’s popular outdoor running vehicle displays. Families can experience historic cars in action and get close to the Museum vehicles.
From vintage British icons to powerful American muscle cars, the displays bring the stories behind automotive innovation vividly to life.
Inside the Museum, visitors can continue their journey through decades of motoring history across 15 exhibitions featuring legendary marques including Jaguar, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche and Williams Racing Formula 1.
Build and Program a Robot
Taking place during May Half Term, the Young Engineers Club interactive workshops introduce children to the fascinating world of robotics, coding and engineering in a fun and engaging environment. Scalextric Racing Through Somerset Landmarks
