    • Develop and manage event timelines and detailed project plans

    • Proactively engage and coordinate external suppliers, car clubs, exhibitors, and traders to secure participation

    • Manage communications with all event stakeholders, ensuring clear timelines and expectations

    • Coordinate internal teams to ensure alignment across all event areas

    • Oversee event administration, documentation, and compliance

    • Support budgeting and cost tracking

    • Ensure all health and safety and operational planning requirements are in place

  3. About You

    • Proven experience planning large-scale events

    • Strong organisational and project management skills

    • Confident in managing external partners, suppliers, and stakeholder relationships

    • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

    • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach

    • High attention to detail

    • Good understanding of event health and safety requirements

  4. Benefits

    • 29 days holiday, increasing with service

    • An extra day off for your birthday

    • Free on-site parking

    • Staff discounts in the café and gift shop

    • Free entry to the Museum for you and your family

    • Ongoing training and development

    • Pension

  5. Hours and Structure

    This is a full-time role.

Occasional weekend working may be required to support events. Immediate start is available and preferred.

    Hybrid working is available.

You will report to the Development Director and work closely with the Events Executive and colleagues across the Museum and Trading Company.

  6. Next Steps

Please submit your CV and any enquiries to Natalie Mackay at natalie.mackay@haynesmuseum.org

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
