Introducing 'The Paddock'

16th Aug 2021

We are delighted to announce a new exhibition area which will be available exclusively for car clubs and special groups. The Paddock, a new gated area is located in the prime spot next to the Museum. In the future it will be an exciting addition at the popular Haynes Breakfast Club, with car owners invited to take part in special displays each month, starting with a 1960s theme on 5 September.

This 1960s showcase will be one of many special displays of visitor’s cars as the event grows. The 1960s was the decade when motoring finally shrugged off the shadow of pre-war design, it was the era of iconic British cars like the Mini and the Jaguar E-type. Today, cars of the sixties continue to represent style, design, and nostalgia in equal measure which is why we have chosen this decade as our first featured theme.” - Chris Copson, Head of Collections.
