1969 Dodge Charger

Car fans love to play ‘Fantasy Classic Car Garage’. Hours of fun can be had spending imaginary money on your favourite car from film and TV or the poster car you always wanted as a teenager but could never afford.

For those with a soft spot for muscle cars, the Dodge Charger is the common choice. It ticks all the boxes: a star of the big and small screen, it has the looks and performance you just must have.

 Any lingering doubts vanish listening to the growl of the V8! While there are many versions of the Charger, enthusiasts often pick the second generation from 1969 with its split front grille and flying buttresses.

Buying one now is difficult because they were never officially sold here in the 1960s. Dodge produced nearly 90,000 Chargers in 1969, yet few survive - only partly because a certain TV show set in Hazzard County destroyed over 300 of them!
