Microscopic monsters are on the loose at Haynes Motor Museum this Halloween — and we need fearless bug hunters to track them down!
Seek out the trail of creepy crawlies threatening to munch their way through the leather, wood, and fabric in our historic vehicles, and uncover how the Museum protects its precious collection from these tiny invaders.
The Big Bug Hunt runs from Saturday 25 October to Sunday 2 November and is free with Museum admission. Every successful bug hunter who completes the trail will take home an exclusive Big Bug Hunt sticker.
This half term also marks the launch of Transitions, a brand-new interactive exhibition exploring the future of motoring. From recycled tyres turned into playgrounds to hydrogen-powered engines, discover the innovations shaping a more sustainable tomorrow.
Transitions opens on Friday 24 October 2025; entry is included in Museum admission.
Adults and kids can also discover some iconic cars throughout the Museum, including the DeLorean, as seen in the popular Back to the Future movie franchise, Lewis Hamilton’s Formula 1 Renault, and so many more!
After all this excitement, young drivers with fuel left in their tank, can rev up their imaginations in our motoring-themed play area, full of fun, learning, and adventure. Be sure to make a pit stop at our on-site café to refuel the whole family.
