With something new to discover every visit, Summer is the perfect time to visit Haynes Motor Museum. Beyond our world-class collection of iconic vehicles, there’s even more to discover with live experiences, hands-on activities and changing displays happening throughout the holiday.

Get closer to incredible vehicles with the Open Doors experiences, watch cars in action during the Outdoor Vehicle Displays, take part in guided talks, and enjoy hands-on family fun with Scalextric and RC activities.

Make memories on a family day out or kick-start your holiday in the South West, where a full day of discovery, entertainment and inspiration awaits all ages.

Outdoor play area

Let the kids run wild in our Haynes Motorland outdoor play area.
Scalextric Racing

Race your family round our special Somerset themed Scalextric track and see who takes the chequered flag!
Paint-a-Mini Interactive

Get creative with the new ‘Paint-a-Mini’ interactive experience, where you can produce and personalise your own design on a Rover Mini car.
Little Tike Cars

Children can travel around the Museum in our Little Tikes toy cars.

The Racing Track will not be available for the Summer Holiday. The Scalextric track is available in the Cafe 750 area.

Enthusiast Days Out

Iconic vehicles

Relive the charm of classic cars from the 1950s and ‘60s or get close to some of the most iconic and desirable cars and motorcycles of the last 70 years. Highlights include Ferrari 250GT, AC Cobra, Jaguar XJ220 and Brough-Superior motorcycle.
