In this fun, hands-on workshop, kids become car designers! Inspired by how professionals shape cars from clay, participants will use soft, colourful foam clay to build and sculpt their very own car to meet a design brief.

Participants will explore our clay prototype of the Viratech Apricale on display in the museum, discovering how designers use clay to shape and refine cars today.

Working to a creative design brief, they’ll shape, customise, and bring their ideas to life. By the end of the session, every young designer will “drive” home (carefully!) with a unique car model they’ve created themselves.
