May Half Term

  • 23rd - 30th May 2026
  • Scalextric Track & RC Racing
  • Running Vehicle Displays
  • Limited Time Exhibits
  • Motoring Themed Play Area

Get ready for an action-packed May Half Term at Haynes Motor Museum with a great line-up of activities for the whole family.

Our popular outdoor car displays return for 2026, bringing the Museum’s incredible vehicles to life. It’s your chance to get up close to these iconic machines — and you might even get to sit inside some of them! Young drivers can also take the wheel and race their very own go-kart in our motoring-themed play area.

Back by popular demand, this half term's Young Engineers Club will introduce children to the world of robotics and programming. In these interactive sessions, young learners will build and program their own mBot2 robot!

Looking for even more high-speed fun? Don’t miss our exclusive Somerset-themed Scalextric track, where you can race through famous local landmarks, from Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage to the dramatic curves of Cheddar Gorge and beyond.

If the sun is out, make the most of our dedicated outdoor play area, designed to encourage children to immerse to themselves in the world of driving in a safe and fun environment.

Make the most of May Half Term with a full day of fun, discovery and hands-on experiences at Haynes Motor Museum. Even better, your standard ticket includes 12 months’ entry — so you can visit again and again for free.
