16th Oct 2020

New Red Room at Haynes Motor MuseumExcitement is building behind the scenes at the Haynes International Motor Museum in Somerset, as the team help to get both cars and exhibitions ready to welcome visitors this October half term.

Photos below from the Museum reveal the first of the famous Red Room cars, carefully making their return to the improved exhibition space, as well as a sneak peek of one of many iconic Williams F1 cars entering an exclusive new exhibition.

There have been many new developments since the Museum closed, with brand new exhibitions and interpretations installed but another big change for the returning visitor will be the way they journey through the space.

Without compromising on visitor experience, the Museum’s look and layout has changed significantly, incorporating well-defined one-way and free flow zones as well as automatic hand sanitisers throughout.Chris Scudds the Museum’s CEO explained further

Welcoming visitors back safely to experience the Museum in a new light is our team’s top priority. Now more than ever it’s important for the nation to support our museums and heritage sites. Please come and visit, we’re open again from the 24 October.
